WEEK 1 — The start Line……

I have decided to review my weekly progress as if it was a relay race, for personal develop I like to always be creative and put myself in story's or imaginable positions to help me push myself.

So this is week one Marely the beginning of the race I didn't know what to expect at the beginning. Yes my palms were sweeting because I wanted to reach the finish line and impress all round however this week I learnt that it is not all about getting to the finish line but how you maintain focus though out.

Achievements :

• This week I achieved making a quiz. it met my expectations however was very time consuming so a task for the future would be to plan out and research before inputting data into the quiz.
• I also managed to start on research on different events around the black community and started putting into a excel spreadsheet.

Improvements :

• This week i would like to give myself more planning time.
• generate some ideas for the quiz night
• post more and intract on the safe space portal

WEEK 2 . Building momentum.

This week was suppose to be about building moment and getting a drive ahead however if I am honest with myself it was fully occupied with my 9–5 that juggling the both was very poor from my part. i learnt its okay to have a minor set back as long as you thrive for a major set back also giving yourself a creative time off not to overload yourself.

WEEK 3 . HURDLES

This week was about enhancing the black history quiz, getting plans and organising dates that would fit the target market we created a poster and was ready to launch our first quiz on Thursday the 28th.

• Poster , I did a couple drafts and with the help of the team we came to a great final decision with a couple tweaks here and there. This helped me understand the importance of feed back there may be small visual things that you can loose sight of if your editing the same thing however someone else's new insights is always good for improvement and self development.

many things have come to light including end sars and other corruptions happening in Africa although its black history month is has become very hard to celebrate when it feels like we are going back in time. we have make the conscious decision to postpone the quiz as this could implement the brand and not give a true representation of how people could interact wiht the brand.
